59 Link Building Lists

April 25, 2013

Wordtracker has recently published 59 lists you really must have to build links.

Lists can be an incredibly helpful way to get things done in your business, because they provide you precise info on what to do.

One of my favorite lists that you can compile for link building is this:

Authors who’ve written books about your industry: they’ll have great authority and are surprisingly easy to approach (all it takes is a bit of flattery).

See, a published author’s “endorsement” provides you instant credibility.

Another good place to get links?

  • Customers who comment on your articles or posts: they’ve shown an active interest in what you do and are not afraid to share their opinions so get them on your side.

Another link building list that I use:

  • List of quality websites that link to your competitors but not to you: how can you persuade them?

And a little out of the box thinking:

Local newspapers, media and news sites: they can be desperate for news – so learn to be a good source and the links will follow.

There are plenty of more ideas in the article, but just picking one and starting to implement is the right course of action.
